Major construction has started at the school and will be starting at the church around July 14! In light of all that is happening on our campus, we want you to be informed about what you can expect regarding worship during that time including meeting locations and times.
Flipped Service Times
For 6 weeks beginning Sabbath, July 20, we will be flipping our service times. Our worship service will begin at 9:30 am and Bible classes will begin at 11:00 am. Breakfast Connection will continue to be at 9:00 am.
Worship Service/Bible Class Relocation
We will also be meeting in the gymnasium each of those Sabbaths (except July 20) to accommodate our construction crews. All Bible classes will continue to meet in their usual locations except the Sanctuary and Fellowship Center classes. The Sanctuary class will relocate to the Fellowship Center and the class that typically meets in the Fellowship Center will be taking a break for the summer.
Outdoor Church on July 20
On July 20 we will have our annual Outdoor Church Service on the front lawn of the church at 9:30 am. You’re invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as well as a sack lunch to eat on the lawn with your friends after Bible classes (happening at 11:00 am). Family Life Ministries will provide cold drinks, pie, and ice cream!
Church Family Campout
Our Church Family Campout will be at Farragut State Park August 30 – September 2. There will be no worship services at CDA Church that Sabbath. You can learn more about the campout and register for it here.
