What you need to know about us here at the Coeur d’Alene Seventh-day Adventist church starts with one word…

Family

We are a family by grace

God adopted us and made us a part of his eternal family because Jesus connected us with Him through his life, death and resurrection.  That all happened because of Jesus and not because we did something to earn our spot.  That means we’re all here by grace and you are welcome too.

We are a blended family

We all come from different backgrounds and we have a wide variety of tastes and interests, ages and ethnicities. But we’re all in this together, so we are intentional about blending our differences together.  We try new things, seek to understand what is important to others, and appreciate our differences.

We are a growing family

God isn’t finished with any of us yet, but we’re aren’t the same as we used to be.  We are growing together as we learn about God and about life through what He has taught is in the Bible.  Sometimes we make mistakes and we hurt others, but we’re committed to working it out and making it right.

We are a family with hope

Our life together here is really just a head start on eternity with God.  Jesus promised that he would come back and take us to our forever home with him.  We live in the hope that we’ll see him very soon.  And while we wait for his return, we seek to meet the needs of those around us by loving them the way Jesus loves us.

So if you’re looking for a place where you can belong, you’ve found it.  If you’re worried you won’t be good enough, well, neither are we.  If you like variety that spices up your worship and stretches you to discover new things about God…

Welcome to the family!
